Diploma of Beauty Therapy WRB50105

 

‘The Diploma of Beauty Therapy’ [WRB50105] is the highest qualification available within the National Beauty Training Package.

To achieve a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, a total of 33 units of competency must be completed. This consists of 23 core units and 10 elective units including at least 8 specialist electives. CBA has selected specialist units focusing on both Advanced Makeup Design and Massage. Both of which will ensure your skills are further enhanced and highly sought after.


DURATION
2 evenings per week for a period of approximately 18 months or 4 days per week for a period of 10 months, plus ‘in salon’ hours.

PRE-REQUISITES
Both the Certificate IV and the Diploma in Beauty Therapy do not

require any pre-requisite studies, however, participants must have

successfully completed Year 10 and be at least 16 years of age.

 

STUDENT CLINIC

You will perfect your skills by gaining valuable experience treating‘ actual clients in the CBA student clinic. Theclinic is open to the publicand provides traditional salon services on a‘not for profit’ basis

. stonesThis allows you to gain real workexperience whilst being guided and supervised by a CBA Educator. There’s no better way to develop your confidence and reinforce your new found skills.

 

FACILITIES

The academy trains with specialised, up to date equipment and

quality skin care products. A selection of relevant books are available

to all participants for research and reference. Our facility includes comprehensive treatmentareas,makeup workshop, massage stations and a fully equipped ITroom.Recreation areas and kiosk facilities are also available on-site.

 

NO HIDDEN COSTS
Course fees at CBA include your uniform, textbooks, notes, workbooks, products, linen, training resources and disposables for use in class time. Completion of a Senior First Aid Certificate is also included in the cost structure of Certificate IV and Diploma Programs. Certificate II students are not provided with a uniform.

 

Course fees include everything that you will need to complete your training, ensuring that you are not surprised by extra costs after you have commenced.

 

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
An appointment for a personal interview may be arranged with the academy’s principals. This allows the opportunity to discuss the course content in detail with you, and answer any questions you may have. As placements are limited the prospective student’s suitability may also be assessed.

 

Participants may enroll by paying a $500 deposit to secure their placement. If posting a deposit please send a cheque or money order payable to ‘CMA Training Group Pty Ltd’, together with your completed enrolment form. RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
Previous work experience or training courses may enable us to deem you competent in certain areas which will allow exemption from some modules. This process is referred to as ‘Recognition of Prior Learning ‘ (RPL). As a Registered Training Organisation, delivering nation-ally recognised training, CBA can assist you with this process. FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
CBA offers a variety of flexible payment options designed to suit your specific needs. Fees can be paid monthly, by term or in a lump sum.


FULL-TIME STUDENTS

OPTION 1
$500 deposit on enrolment. A $500 discount applies to participants who pay in full prior to commencement. Total Course Cost: $8700.


OPTION 2
$500 deposit paid on enrolment. Three (3) payments of $2900. Options 2 payments are payable at the beginning of each term. Total Course Cost: $9200.

OPTION 3 - FULL-TIME STUDENTS

$500 paid on enrolment. Nine (9) payments of $966.67. Full-time students: Sixteen (16) payments of $544. Option 3 is available to credit card holders only and is debited monthly.Total Course Cost: $9200.

 

PART-TIME STUDENTS

OPTION 1
$500 deposit on enrolment. A $500 discount applies to participants who pay in full prior to commencement. Total Course Cost: $8700.

 

OPTION 2
