Whether you are seeking a creative career in design and digital media or simply want to apply a professional approach to your workplace this program will ensure you are headed in the right direction.

This program aims to develop digital design skills and introduces learners to design concepts, practices and techniques using the following Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge and Dreamweaver.

 

Topics explored, include:

 

- Illustrator fundamentals - learn how to create professional, print quality flyers, brochures,   etc..

- Design fundamentals - key principles to achieve effective visual design.

- Digital Photography basics - how to capture an effective digital image to enhance your   artwork.

- Photoshop fundamentals - learn to manipulate your images like a pro.

- Dreamweaver fundamentals - learn to build, maintain and update basic static web pages.

Duration & Commencement

 

This program commences throughout the year. Click here for more information. This program runs one evening per week for a period of approximately 6 months. Participants are also required to undertake project tasks during non-contact hours.

 

Tuition Fees

 

COST: $4900 - Government funding is available for eligible participants.

Eligible participants only pay a student contribution fee of $450.

 

The balance of tuition fees isfunded through the ACT Department of Education & Training PSP Program.

 

Eligilibity

 

Eligibility criteria applies. Funded positions are available to people who are currently employed. This includes casual workers and small business owners and their staff.
