COURSE INCLUDES:
This program provides the fundamental ICT knowledge and skills base essential to becoming an effective and efficient employee in an ICT environment. It introduces the basic principles, technical skills and theories used in computer software applications, operation systems, hardware and electronic communication. It also covers OH&S issues and workplace communication.
In addition, this course is an essential stepping stone to higher qualifications as it provides foundation skills and knowledge which are pivotal for all other qualifications within the ICA05 training package.

COURSE INCLUDES:
This program further enhances the fundamental ICT knowledge and skills base developed throughout the Certificate I in Information Technology. Additional skills are developed such as integrating computing packages, organisational document design, installation of software from both the internet and disc, IT job functions, roles and responsibilities, etc..
Topics such as customer service, communication and team work principles are also explored. This includes team culture, decision making, problem solving, team objectives, goal setting, empathy, diversity, effective workplace communication and consultation.
This course also articulates directly into higher Certificate programs.
